How to define portal system to access MDM server

Hi all:

I want to allow applications running in the portal to access the MDM server

In Portal System Administration>System configuration>system landscape-->portal content .then New a folder,

I create a new system In the folder.but IN "system wizard step1 template choose" I can't find MDM system.

How to configure the Portal?

Hi Bill,

These are all GUI CLIENTS installables. These will not give you the Portal Contents that you are looking for.

You need to download Portal Contents and MDM JAVA APIs from Service MarketPlace.

Go to http://service.sap.com/swdc --> Support packages and patches --> Entry by application group --> SAP NetWeaver --> SAP MDM --> SAP MDM 5.5

You will get JAVA APIs and Portal Content there.

Hi Bill,

You will first need to install MDM Business Package for Portal on your Portal Server. By doing that, you will get all the iViews related to MDM and System Templates for MDM System.

Please deploy the portal business package( download relavant files from Service MarketPlace),
