How to learn SAP Business Connector

I have a customer using SAP Business Connector without having any internal knowledge about the business connector.

The requirement is to extend an outbound idoc (existing productive scenario) with a new segment, and I basically know how to do this, implement enhancements to fill data in the new segment and update the partner protocol in WExx transactions etc.

Final step in our end is to make the business connector understand the extended idoc.

Is there any way we can learn about the SAP Business Connector? I can't find even basic documentation.

In fact, Business Connector is quite well documented. You can find the documentation in your installation directory, e.g.

C:\sapbc48\Developer\doc

C:\sapbc48\Server\doc
