Item status copied while creating order using copy control

Hi,

We are creating order wrt another order(KB->KE copy control exists). We have created delivery for source document and now if we try creating order wrt the source order document, the item status copied as Complete in the new document and item quantity is appearing in non-editable mode.

Could you please suggest whether any settings in copy control are causing this?

Hi

Please check what is maintained there in Completion rule of item category used for KB document type. Are you using standard item categories or you have modified these for your business scenario?

Hi,

We are using both standard IC and custom IC as well, we are observing this issue for both standard and custom IC items as well. I will have a look at Completion rule of IC in  KB doc and update.

Hi,

Check if you have selected complete reference in copy control of your documents. If so, then uncheck the same.

Also, choose copy qty field as order qty in copy control at item level.

My senior colleagues resolved it by populating ordered qty and confirmed qty while creating schedule lines and that's how the issue is resolved.Thanks for your support.
