How to Schedule the jobs twice per a day?

Hi All,

Can you please let me know how to schedule the jobs twice per  a day?

For Example : The same job will be run morning 6.00 AM EST and evening 6.00 pm EST..

Hi,

Follow the below steps.

Go to Management Console->Batch job configuration->Select which job you are tried to schedule->add

Schedule->Select day of the month->select all days->select multiple times for a day->enter start time-

>Mention the duration and repeated interval.

Mostly this solves your problem.

How many minutes i need to give duration ( in minutes) and repeat interval (in minutes) but i need to run the job from monday to Friday?

If you see SM36 there are no of search options, By doing testing you will come to know...

Hi,

In repeated interval give how many minutes the gap between the jobs.

For eg the job should run every 5 mins, repeated interval is 5 mins.

Duration mention 1440 minutes.

i.e 24  Hours*60 Mins=1440 minutes.

if I select every month, can I select recurring option or not?

Hi,

Select day of Month and select date. No need of recurring.

Hi,

In Repeated interval mention 15 mins and duration is 1440 minutes.

Dear Mohan,

In BODS, how come T.code SM36 will work.? It's not ECC.

Go to Dataservices manamgement console. go to administrator view. choose your repository.

Click on "batch".

click on batch job configuration.

Select your batch/job/project, click on "action"/add schedule and schedule it from there.

you can create a job in sm36 and schedule it / them daily with the times of your choosing...
