Create delivery without stock (MTO)

Hello all,

Our client has the Make to order scenario, but here the requirement is without doing the goods receipt (101) they want to create the delivery.

Is it possible in standard SAP to create delivery without stock, if yes then could you please let me know the configuration required to map the scenario.

Hi Ali,

System will may allow to creat the delivery but system will display message "Check the notes in the log" and the qty copied is 0 qty in deliver.

You can save it but when you do the GI through VL02N system will give again give error message like "Only 0 NOS of material xxx  available".

If you make Avilability check off in the Delivery Item Category,you can process without stock

I think it is possible If you activate negative stock at your material Site level.If there is no stock also system will pick the  qty .However you can see your stock in -Ve.

Hi Ali,

In SAP standard you can create delivery without stock, but in the time of picking and pgi it will give error.
