Unable to deploy Adapter module

I am trying to deploy the Adapter module (using EJB 2.1) . We are on PI 7.31.

When I tried to deploy from NWDS (version 7.3 SP09 pat3), We get the following error,

Error calling Ant to jarSap archive

Could not find one or more classes: "org.eclipse.ant.internal.core.ant.InternalAntRunner". Please check the Ant classpath.

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.eclipse.ant.internal.core.ant.InternalAntRunner

I have seen some people removing the old workspace to fix this issue. I have deleted my project and started fresh.. still getting this error. am I missing something?

When I try to Export the EAR project to EAR file (using Export to SAP EAR ), I am getting the org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Extended Operation failure: com.sap.ide.j2ee.ui.wizard.SapEARComponentExportOperation

Caused by: com.tssap.tools.archive.ArchiveBuildException: Error calling Ant to jarSap archive

I logged into NWDS with the Admin account (for the PC) and I was able to deploy the module.
