Hello,

Any one who has used ecatt in mass creation of BPs? Have you experienced issues at the BP general>Identification tab?

HI Algrace,

First can you run ECATT in your production system?

Normally the answer is No for this in production system.

If yes it is simple to build the script and you can do the same. in other no issues technically.

Usually we have various reports to generate them as per configuration guide or simply use BP_GEN transaction for mass generation of BP in any systems

Hi Prakhar and Jagadish,

BP_GEN(mass generation of BPs) requires an RFC connection. However, not all our managed systems have RFC connections due to security policies from their end.

We are using ecatt for simple data transfer conversions. We do not use it when it is already productive.

The error is basically because of the wrong screen that is being called during recording. The data resides in the subscreen (SAPLBUD0 screen no.1520) but the recording reads the main screen (SAPLBUS_LOCATOR screen no. 3000).

We are going to open up a message to SAP on how we can address this.

Hi Algrace,

In SOLMAN_SETUP , when you setup ITSM or CHARM .. In one of the phases You can perform mass generation of  the BPs
