Hi

Having DB content media (SAP Export) on a shared drive is not recommended, at first for performance reasons

It is also because some function are not able to access data especially if you are using UNC path

I would recommend you to copy the export media on a local drive.

sapinst_dev log

INFO       2014-02-05 20:31:16.404

           CJSlibModule::writeInfo_impl()

Output of C:\Users\ADMINI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\2\sapinst_exe.4752.1391612169\jre\bin\java.exe -classpath migcheck.jar -showversion com.sap.inst.migcheck.MigrationChecker -checkPackages -installDir "C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\NW740SR1\ORA\INSTALL\NW740SR1\ORA\STD\ABAP" -packageFile \\192.168.1.117\SAP-Downloads\Neweaver74Software\Export\51047454_8\DATA_UNITS\EXP3\DATA\SAPSTR.LST -trace all is written to the logfile package_checker.java.log.

In above log just wanted to check from where it is taking 192168.1.117 where .properties file consists only local drive. Please let me know in which file all these paths are located?

I'm afraid you will have to restart, I've never tried to change installation path on SWPM I'm not sure that it is possible.
