what is PLM web UI, is it a separate utility or gui like easy dms. how to run and configure it with SAP DMS.

Kashif
PLM Web UI is the Web Dynpro ABAP implementation of PLM. Usually NWBC (Desktop, HTML) is used to access PLM Web UI but nothing stops you from using the WDAs directly with a browser although navigation between applications uses OBN. Since OBN targets are defined in roles, either portal or NWBC is required. Notice that with Web UI, a locally installed Java runtime might also be required for example in case of ACF upload/download which is used to upload/download originals to documents.

Hi Kashif,
PLM Web UI comes handy when working with partner enterprises over the Internet. You may extend web access to the data in the PLM to external users/suppliers/design partners.
Search the forum for relevant threads/ refer SAP help portal for further details.
