Dear all,

I´m facing problems installing the SSO Certificate on my computer running windows 8.1, it´s IE version 11. It says to enable the Active X and I did it but still not working.

Any idea would be great.

Hi

Kindly refer the Microsoft link to enable the Active X component

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/hh920753(v=vs.85).aspx

Use ActiveX filtering - Microsoft Windows Help

and also kindly refer the SCN link for Internet Explorer 11 support

Check the profile parameter for SSO in rz10. Make the value as 1.

Hi Nelson,

I also tried on IE version 10 & it installed successfully without any ActiveX issue.I recommend if you don't want to import certificate backup from firefox browser then you need to downgrade your IE version from 11 to 10 .

Hi Ram,

I would request you to please perform downgrade activity of IE from 11 to 10 at your end also and verify for any issue occurs at your end.

As i performed this on Windows 8 with IE 10.

This activity will help others.

Thanks,

Dear all,

Thank you very much for your reply, as I mentioned, I rather use the import and export approach from Firefox to IE 11, downgrade is not the best option for me, sorry.

Hi Nelson,

Please do below two actions on your IE .

* Go to Tools ---> Internet Options ---> Content ---> Certificates ---> Remove previous if any.

After that please try again to import SSO.

* Second option is to  use Firefox web browser to apply the SAP Single Sign On Passport and have a personal certificate generated & backup this personal certificate from Firefox browser.

After Backup of this SSO certificate you can import the backup into Internet Explorer.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks,

Gaurav
