Upgrade solution Manager 7.1 SP10 Error PREP_EXTENSION/CONFLICT_CHECK!

Hi,

I am doing the upgrade activity first time, Installed Solution Manager 7.1 in Maxdb database and started the upgrade using SUM. Extraction road map completed successfully and getting the error in configuration road map.

Error message is        Severe error(s) occured in phase PREP_EXTENSION/CONFLICT_CHECK . Kernel, TP and R3trans were updated. Kindly help me to solve this tissue. Please find the error details below.

Hello,

You may first try increasing the system profile parameter

"rdisp/max_wprun_time", after that restart the system to take effect and

try to repeat the phase again, please also review notes # 363000

and # 25528 rdisp parameters / max_wprun_time for your reference.

Please monitor and let us know the result after.

Hello,

You can activate rdisp/max_wprun_time parameter even without restart but it will be valid till next restart of the system.

Jose,

Have you tried restarting the phase from the point of error?  That might get you past the timeout.  Also, it looks like you might not be using the latest patch level of the SUM tool.  Which version are you using?
