SAP CR content Update runs since two days

Former Member

Hello,

I'm trying to implement a SAP CR content update into SLD.

This is CRDelta71611_0-20008269.ZIP, which should be imported. Speed was about 500 packets in one hour (from 394702 to import...).

Import can run up to several hours, I know. But 2 days? I didn't had this already.

At the moment I can't have a look into sld - website is not shown.

I tried to open Java Visual Admin to see some logs - no login possible - no error message - login stand still at 99%.

I can't see any error messages in logs under /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/work/.

What happens if I restart server now? Is there any other possibility to see some logs?

Regards,

Julia

Hi,

You can restart the SLD, no issues.

but first if you are not able to stop the process. try to kill the process at o/s level.

and again start re import process. there might be some connection problem, which would have made

   download hanged.

thanks

Hello Amar,

thanks for your reply.

I stopped jlaunch-process on os-level, then restart of sap system - no access to SLD site possible.

Then I restarted whole server and then restarted import of CR content - it's working now with next update content 🙂

Julila

Could you please check default traces? Please also paste related error logs here.

You can find trace file in <instance directory>/j2ee/cluster/server<n>/ logs.

What happens if I restart server now? Will SLD start again with importing?
