RENTAL CONTRACT

Hi All,

Can any one explain the process of creating the rental contract with the (standards types )  and sales order with reference to rental contract and billing with reference to sales doc. (a full cycle)

i created but i m confused nd getting error as  Copying from sales document type ZABC to ZXYZ is not supported.

I HAVE used MV as order type for cntc

                   MNV  as item categories for cntc

nd for Sales order   OR  ,can any one help he. how to go about.

Hi,

1.Create Rental Contract using transaction code VA41 with standard document type MV with Validity dates.

2. Create sales order ( ZOR) with reference to Rental Contract and Maintain Copy controls from MV to ZOR in VTAA transaction code.

3. Item category used in Rental Contract is MVN and it has Periodic billing enabled by default.

4 With referenc to your order , you can create Billing VF01.

please try and revert if you stuck at any specific point

Hi Santosh,

I tried the above procedure mention by you but even though i m getting error mentioned below

while creating sales order i have used G in General Control,Reference Madatory. as well blank.

and in VTAA i cant find my order type with the target type  nd source type.

my Requirement is  MV -SO-FV

My Requirement is rental Contract  to sales Order to Invoice

Create sales Order Reference to Rental Contract and Invoice  Reference to Sale order
