Lumira with SAP BusinessObjects Universe

I run Lumira on my client machine and select SAP BusinessObjects Universe as data source.

However I get below attached error.

Has anybody ever faced this issue?

Hi Tejas,

One of the Objects is not validate with the other objects in universe.

Please check the Universe in IDT and Run full query with all objects in universe.

and also provide details of Data Source, and universe connections ?

I think you have created universe directly with the database.

Tammy, Dhaval Thank you for you response.

I am using a universe that points to SQL Server 2008 database. We have created dashboards against this universe. For WEBI and Dashboards, this universe and objects within work fine. However while we work with Lumira, we need to take care of objects and the way they are defined.

Below are the symptoms for this error message:

1. Issue with the database connection.
2. Mismatch of data types for the selected object.
3. Result returned from the server reached the limit set for the configuration parameter Maximum Character Stream Size (MB) of Web Intelligence Report Server.
4. Universe object(s) not configured properly.

Hope this helps everybody who has just started with Lumira.

Which version of BI4x are you using?

I saw yesterday that Lumira now supports BI4.1 SP02 What's new in SAP Lumira Desktop 1.15 | SCN

Hello Tejas,

I did a search of this error message on SAP Notes and it brings back 114 notes.  Did you search there?  Can you access this same Universe with Web Intelligence and not Lumira?

What version of BI are you using?
