Personas is blocking web-links, where do you fix this?

I've tried adding a web-link to our login splash page on SAP Personas 2.0 that takes our users to our website. Every time I click on it I get a pop-up message reading "The entered url is not whitelisted!". Does anyone know this issue and/or know what to do?

Hi Jordan,

You need to specify the "allowed URL" in SPRO->Cross Application Component->SAP Personas->Maintain Whitelist URL.

Please note that you can either maintain exact URl or also wildcard:

eg. www.sap.*

For a start, you can also punch in just "*".

Save and RE-LAUNCH Personas.

And this is done within SAP GUI on the server running the Admin portion of Personas?

Well typically yes. Since these things will be performed by admin.

But you can use Personas too.

This addition has to go into the system where Personas is installed (Main System).

Excellent! I've found the Whitelist and have successfully added the URL.

Thanks Sushant!

Hi all,

I'm having the same issue, and I understand what needs to be done by going to SPRO and updating the Whitelist section.

My issue is a little more basic, the SAP Personas section in the IMG is not showing up for me under Cross-Application Components.

When I search for Personas, nothing shows up. Not sure how I could have Personas add on installed and working but the IMG does not come up for it.

I have Personas 3.00 SP1.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Marcelo

For Personas 3.0, there are no IMG settings. Please go to admin transaction for that.

For /personas/admin->Goto->URL whitelist
