Afaria - Sony device control

Hello,

How can I manage hardware and software of Sony devices e.g. disable camera, restrict application... ?

In the afaria admin under the configuration policy there are settings only for LG, Motorola and Samsung.

Hi,

Afaria for Android support type are AES2 . LG and NON AES2 device.

AES2 device are Samsung device (note: Not all samsung device are AES2 device ) to know the device is AES2 or not you need to download AESChecker from playstore.

SAMSUNG Policy in afaria console are for AES2 device which have many features .

NONAES2 Device : Genrice device ( HTC , SONY , MICROMAX) which have minimum features like password policy, wifi , hardware and software inventory and session manager.

Note : The samsung device which is not AES2 will be treat either AES1 or NONAES2 device

LG  : LG Device the features are different which are available on afaria console.

Replying your question for sony CAM restriction this feature is available for 4.x above Android OS .
