Hello experts,

we have following problem. Some users haven't access to the NWBC. If they try to login the get following error message:

"The user menu tree for user <username> is empty. Please contact your system administrator".

Its not a n general problem, because some user can open NMBC. They have the same roles.

Our system is SAP SRM 7.02 with classic scenario. The standard roles, are copied to customer roles.

We user the SRM Admin Role, Manager Role and Purchasing Secretary.

One more point, since you are using NWBC, would you please check the solution for this error in note

1378659?

ERROR: "The user menu tree for user <user> is empty."

Hi Daniel,

Did you activate SRM_700_LOCAL_MENU? If not, please activate it in the following path:

Spro-> Sap SRM-> SRM Server-> Technical basic settings->

-> Portal independent navigation frame

If this doesn't solve the case, would you please check this problematic user with trx users_gen?

Please tell me if there is error reported and what it is.

Super. After trying to fix for almost two weeks going through different SCN etc, this is the one fixed my issue. Excellent.

Note:

Its possible to login in english, but if the user try to logon in german the error is coming up.

Hi Daniel,

I suppose the problem is in your roles...

Does it works with standard roles?

Do you have PFCG_TIME_DEPENDENCY planned as a job?

we have an copy of the standard roles. I asked the person who is responsible for the CUA and the SU01 users.

Hi Konstantin,

thanks a lot. the language german is maintained. Other user with the same roles can logon in german.
