I have some doubts.

1) How to put the job on hold in tidal production.

Why we have to put job in hold.

2) What will be happend if any XML messages are in INBOUND QUEUE (SMQ2) and what we have to do.

what is inbound queue.

If you dont mind can any body explain me its very helpfull for me.

Thanks in advace.

Thanks,

Subramanyam,

1) U may like to put a job onhold when it has got dependency with another job in the queue , incase the first job fails or is not yet processed then u have to put this one onhold .

How ? SXMB_Admin -- create a Sender/receiverID -- create a Job and assign interface to the newly creted job.

2) If the messages are "stuck" in SMQ2 then

Check if the Queue is registered

activate the queue Or delete the message ???

u can try many options based on the situation ur in ..

Regards

Kavitha

hi,

it's quite normal that you see entries in queues in XI

XI uses queues to process messages so threy always appear in

queue monitor - it's normal

the problem would be if any of those entries was with error

and the rest would wait - then it might mean that there's some error

whcih you can see via SXI_MONITOR
