Period end closing - GBI Case Study

Hello

I am the administrator for my school where several students are attempting the SD Case Study (GBI 2.11).

They are having issues with Post Goods Issue step.

The error they receive is  M7053

Posting possible only in periods 2014/01 and 2013/12 in company code US00.

The detailed explanation shows that the Period end closing process has not yet completed.

Is there a procedure that we administrators need to follow with respect to this?

I was able to run this step on the 31st of January when I attempted the case study. But now I am not able to do so on the 2nd of February.

I would appreciate any help on this issue.

My friend and SAP expert Swaminathan Venkataraman helped me fix the problem by running transaction MMPV.
