ATP quantity

Hi all,

After the upgrade to EHP6 and SCM7.02, while doing a manual ATP check in the sales order, the ATP QTY in the sales order screen returns with values

like 999.999.999,999 mostly. But when i save the sales order it does not save this value.

Why would the ATP return with these values?

we do not want these values to pop up after manual ATP check as its causing issues in web based availability check customization.

is there any settings ? or other way to avoid this?

Hello Rorie,

You mentioned that SCM. 7.02 EHP6..It is something new, may be there could be a bug in the standard SAP software. Did you already raise an OSS message to SAP to seek their opinion on this issue ?

Hi babu,

yes OSS raised and its becuase of the following:

Its mainly becuase of the difference semantics between APO ATP and ERP ATP . LC cannot provide the Field with the same semantics as that of ERP.

If we are using availabiity check for web orders etc., using the BAPI, then you might have issues, otherwise this can be ignored, since the ATP quantity field is only for display.

Hello Rorie,

Thanks for getting back to us with the info. With SCM 7.0 EHP3, is the ATP checking process completely web enabled ?

Hi Rorie,

Please check in OVZ9 for your checking group and checking rule "check without RLT" (Table field: T441V-OWBZP) is checked?

Please refer OSS note 547512 - FAQ: Customizing of the ATP in R/3

1. Question:

Why is an available quantity of 9,999,999,999 [units] displayed for all selected batches in batch determination?

Answer:

For an availability check that takes into account the replenishment lead time, any quantity can be confirmed after the replenishment lead time has expired. Since batches cannot be reproduced, the availability check must be carried out without taking account of the replenishment lead time in the case of materials to be handled in batches. This means that the "Check without RLT" indicator must be set in the "Replenishment lead time" field for the check.

Hi Rupesh,

there "check without RLT" indicator is not set. But this was the case earlier as well.

and these are not batch managed materials.

Hi Rorie,

Could you please check by setting "check without RLT" indicator?
