Hi Experts,
I have created a Pre-Exit(component) method for a button action where am raising a POPUP message using if_wd_window_manager of method CREATE_POPUP_TO_CONFIRM.
The standard code just gives a message as 'Data is saved' on action of the button.
My problem is, once the button is pressed am getting the popup message, but at the same time the standard code is also triggered. So at background I can see the standard message as 'Data is saved', and also my popup message is also triggering. I need to make the standard code to execute only after giving confirmation from my Popup message in pre-exit method. Is it possible?
How can I make the standard code to execute after giving confirmation(OK) from my custom code in preexit method. Please help me.
With Regards,
Ramakrishnan M
Hi Ram,
Where is the standard code written ?
You can use the overwrite exit for that particular method and keep the code of that method as it it.
Just add your code to the same method at the initial part, once after your code the standard code will execute.

Hi Aakash,
I have tried it, but still am facing the same problem, as i'm getting the popmessage as well as the standard message.
Only thing is I want to stop the navigation at the instant of popup message, and by giving OK confirmation, the standard code needs to proceed. But I don't find any parameter to cancel my navigation in method CREATE_POPUP_TO_CONFIRM.
Thanks,
Ramakrishnan M.
Hi Ram,
You can use "subscribe_to_button_event" method if I got your question correctly.
Suppose in the pop up you have two buttons ok and cancel, then you can use this method to assign the code. You have to create two actions before this like OK and CANCEL and pass it to the method.
and to cancel the navigation you can write the code in WDBEFOREACTION method.
I hope this helps you.

AkkI
