JDBC Pool Monitoring

Dear all,

Is there a way to monitor JDBC pools in NW As Java? I need to see how many connections to a specific DB is active in the system, along with history data (min, max, avg today, avg yesterday etc.) if possible as well.

In this blog, it shows the monitor in Visual Administrator. I'm using NW 7.3 EHP1  and could not find the replacement monitor in NWA - monitoring tab is not there in the resource configuration screen.

Thanks for all the input.

Kind Regards,

S. Gökhan Topçu

Hello

There is something available for Oracle DB. I've never checked if it is available for other DBs

766349 - FAQ: Oracle SQL optimization

Activate an SQL trace using a web browser URL (http://<hostname>:<port>/SQLTrace)

Thanks Yves for your input. My system is installed on MSSQL but I'm trying to trace an Oracle DB pool. Unfortunately, this URL does not exist on my 7.3.1. system - the note probably does not apply to this SP level.

Hi

I've tested it on 731 SP5, try that URL modify port according to your instance number

http://hostname:5<Inst_Nr>00/OpenSQLMonitors/index.html
