How to pay the security deposit before contract start date.

Dear Experts,

I have an issue in SAP-REFX ( LEASE IN SCENARIO).

My contract is starting from 01.03.2014 to 31.02.2018.I have created the Rental object & contract accordingly.

But now I want to make the security deposit for the same store on today date.while doing it the error message was as below.

Valid-from date has to be greater than or equal to 01.03.2014

Message no. RECD017

Can any one guide me take this further, Or is there any way to run the security deposits separately.

As in my scenario always security deposit will starts before 1 year or 6 months before the contract start date.

Have you created a Security Deposit Contract which you have assigned to the contract ?

Hi  Jerry Chibvuri,

Yes, I Have created a Security deposit contract, & posted also, its working fine. Only thing its main contract is having problem now,Not allowing to do add conditions also.

Can you guide me on this.
