Setting System status based on user status

Can you please help with any FM to set system status based on user status on an Initiative/ Item.

Hi Mos,

regarding the status the object initiative has a total different logic as the item.

An initiative uses the 'classic' status management, located in SAP_BASIS. The possible status is fixed, can defined in BS22 (and BS32).  The change of status happens with e.g.

CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_FOR_ACTIVITY using the guid of linked 'dummy' PPM project guid and so called business action e.g. DX01 for release.

The status of an item happens only 'local' in PPM area, in which you can maintain the possible status in PPM customizing. The status is more or less a value like other parameters of an item.

The method SET_ATTRIBUTES (CL_RPM_PROJECT_O) is used for the update (with other changed parameters).
