Hi

we are getting system_Core_dump and terminated with signal 0, we are using ECC 6.0 Ehp- 4, kernel 710, sp stack 223, DB Oracle 10g 10.2.0.5, AMD SR5650 32 gb RAM, suggested by management that a Kernel upgrade is required, Please help me how to resolve the issue and which version of Kernel should I download for upgrade.

Thank you

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

System core dump could be due to mismatch of version of SAP kernel files in your system.

My suggestion is to upgrade the kernel with the latest files and check the results.

You may upgrade to Kernel 720_Ext_REL 64-bit U or NUC based on your system.

Hope this helps.

hi Deepak

Thank you very much for your response, I am new to Upgrade we are using Win Server 2008 R2, Could you please help me out with the PAM for Kernel upgrade and is it required to upgrade the support package level first. I was suggested to only upgrade R3trans and Tp, will that help me to resolve the issue.
