TDMS for BW System

Hi ALL ,

We would like to implement TDMS 4.0 among our BW Landscape , please share BW specific document and suggest about Process type ( time based, shell creation etc ) to execute and brief the considerations to use process type in particular to BI systems?

our BI systems stands on SAPBASIS 701, Oracle 11, and OS linux.

Although I have not build a BW system using TDMS 4.0, I have found a post about TDMS on SAP BW.

and also you can refer to SAP note 1611700 for the pre-requisites.

For SAP BW following migration scenarios are available-

Shell Creation for SAP BW

• SAP TDMS transfers all repository objects such as reports, DDIC structures, and table definitions.

Time-Based Reduction for SAP NetWeaver BW

• SAP TDMS reduces BW transactional data based on the time slice
