SPAM/SAINT through software update manger(SUM)?

can we update SPAM/SAINT through software update manger(SUM)?

if possible please provide documentation

Hi,

Yes you can do your SPAM upgrade using SUM ,stack XML file is important.

Hi,

As far as I know, you have two way to update SPAM/SAINT:

1) Download SPAM/SAINT update from the SAP Market Place, extract the archive in your EPS/in directory, go to spam/saint in the client 000 and click on the menu Support Package > Import SAINT/SPAM Update.

2) You have use the MOPZ to download an EHP upgrade. In this case, spam/saint updates is included in the files provided by MOPZ and SUM will update "automatically" SAINT/SPAM.

The first document indicates that you have to applied the last SPAM update before start SUM (but normally SUM updates SPAM/SAINT during the upgrade).

Hi Karri,

As per my knowledge you can update SPAM/SAINT using SUM as well. Ensure it is included in the stack file.
