How can I uncheck "Data collection in background"?

Dear Experts,

I monitor IDocs using BPMon of SolMan 7.1 SP08 in background mode.

But I want to change to directly read, not background.

I tried to uncheck "Data Collection in Background", but it cannot be done.

Does anyone know how to uncheck "Data Collection in Background"?

Hi,

You can un check the button anytime from the screen you shown above from monitoring schduling tab, seems you were missing some authorization?

more over check are you in edit mode?

Hello Jansi,

I checked my authorization, there are SAP_ALL and some workcenter's roles about BPM in SolMan.

And I can change anything expect "DataCollection in Background".

Any other ideas?

This is an additional information.

I checked other monitoring settings.

In File monitoring (BOFILMON) to SolMan, I can uncheck "Data Collection in Background" like following.

But IDoc monitoring (IMIDOC01) to ERP, I cannot uncheck it.

   Hi,

Now I understood, Idoc monitoring is exceptional case, it actually use the background data collection by default. this is actually long time before confirmed by sap team. I have read this.

But couldn't able to find the discussion.

You cant change this setting in IDOC monitoring. It is designed by SAP as standard to use background data collection with 15 min interval.
