BPM product transport in NWDS

Hi

I am using SAP PI 7.31 single stack system.

I have BPM product created in my NWDS and deployed in development system.

How can I transport it from my NWDS to further environments (quality ,production) using CTS transport. I do not want to do direct deployment to quality,production.

this is for ESR and ID - CTS deployment.

I have created a product in BPM - NWDS. I need to move it using CTS. I have PI 7.31 single stack. Any idea on it ?

Hello,

Do u have NWDI in ur landscape?

If yes, then u can use CTS+ and if not, then u have to deploy BPM directly from NWDS.

Can you please guide on how to use CTS transport for my NWDS BPM Product using NWDI ? Please share from the basic level,as i don know nything on its transport .

Do we need solution Manager for it ?

Blog mentioned by Hareesh would help u in doing what u want.

So if u have sufficient access then u can start configure those steps (i have done it in my landscape, but to be precise these are mostly BASIS activities).

But from a PI perspective, important step is to create a SWC inside NWDI SLD, import the same in NWDS (using Development Infrastructure perspective) and then create ur BPM inside imported component.

CTS+ can be hosted on any ABAP stack system, but we generally host it on SOLMAN - i am sure u must be having solman in ur landscape.

We do not have SOLMAN or any ABAP based system available to use for it.

I have a query on it -

I have PI 7.31 single stack - Java based system. So, I want to do the CTS transport and track it, but only using Java stack. I do not want to use any ABAP based system for CTS transport.

There should be some way to do the transports using Java stack only. Is there any way for it ? Can you please advise on it.

For CTS u need ABAP based system, but using NWDI also (which is already there in ur landscape) u can transport (using CMS) ur java components like BPM - so yes, that's certainly possible.
