GRC 5.3 CUP - Export Roles

Is there an export feature I am overlooking?  Looking to make some updates by removing some old roles, add new ones and also change approvers on several hundred roles.

Hi Chris,

you could download CUP tables via debugger functionality or from DB level.

Hi Chris,

You can get the template if you go inside CUP -> Roles -> Import Roles. On the right side pane you will see a button saying Download Template. This will give you an Excel file showing all the column names that you need to fill in.

RoleApprover

User ID of the role’s approvers. Several role

approvers can be included, separated by

commas. Alternate approvers follow the

approver and are separated by a pipe

symbol (|). Lead Approver designation

follows the alternate approver separated by

a pipe symbol (|).

Format:

Roleappr|alternative|Y,roleapprover|alternate

Example:

WONG|BLAW|Y,CPERKINS MWONG is

the role approver, BLAW is MWONGs

alternate approver and MWONG is the

Lead Approver. CPERKINS is the second

role approver, no alternate and is not the

lead approver.

This is to upload...... I would like to get an extract of all the existing data in GRC to be able to remove and amend some other data.
