I have been working on a Univ and I can't see where it's saving the output too .
Normally as a convention in IT there will be a "Save As . . ." Menu option somewhere so you can trace where it's saving your files .
But not IDT . No. that would be giving the game away far too easily.

Navigate to:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\.businessobjects\bimodeler_14\workspace\<projectname>
Here you will find all the projects worked upon by your user and also the universes.

C:\Users\<Username>\.businessobjects\bimodeler_14\workspace\<Project Name>\...
You can browse this folder when you try to Open a Project from IDT...
