Hi mates,

I am working on SAP PI7.3 dual stack. I have configured Message based alerting(Not CBMA). I have used the container elements SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_TYPE,SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRT as well.  in NWA.. i have set the parameters  Alerting.isActive to true and Alerting.Target to 0. .But don't know why the alerts are not coming. But for Integration engine failures i am receiving alerts.

Please let me know if i have missed out some thing.

thanks in advance.

Regards,

Loordh.

Hi Vali,

I have selected No Restriction but still no luck. I checked the report    SXMSALERT_LOGREADER

but no logs at all.

Hi Loordh - You have mentioned that you manually changed the Alerting parameters in NWA. Did you restart the system after changing the paramerts?

the alerting parameters of the XPI Service: AF Core service are not online modifiable. When you change their value, make sure you restart the system for the changes to take effect
