PPDS Planned order - Start time

Hi,

When a planned order is created using heuristics, the start time is defaulted to 12:00 AM.

Is there a way to offset this to start the order from say 8.00 AM.

I would suggest exploring following option:

1) Resource Calendar - that starts on a specific time e.g. 8 AM

2) Schedulign offset in Planning Strategy - it would schdeule order at a specific no of minutes before or after current time

3) Please go through consulting note 441102 and 397989.

Thank you for your reply.

How can I set each day to start at 8.00 AM. The 24 hour ends on next day at 07:59:59 AM.

Standard SAP provides a start at 12:00 AM and ends at 23:59:59 PM.

For Option 1, I would suggest updating time stream that is associated with Resource with start time as 08:00:00 and end time as 24:00:00. In the capacity tab, you can also maintain similar start and end time and adjust utilization approriately by say 150%. I did not test this option, but may be worth trying.
