Need configuration information

Hello,

I have installed the SAP Netweaver 7.4 as ABAP in windows server 2008.

And the below is the system configuration.

host name: PRVSAP

SID:PRD

Instance no. 01

And i have activate the SAP Netweaver Gateway through the SPRO T-Code.

I have configure the SAP Netweaver Gateway Component in Eclipse Juno 4.2

But when i trying to create a new SAP Netweaver Gateway Connection in Eclipse based on the below information.

hostname: localhost / PRVSAP

port no. 8001 / 50100 / gwrd port from the SAP Management consol screen. (tried with all given options)

and my SAP System user id and Password.

Getting the "Network Connection Error".

Please help.

Hi Praveer,

You would need to maintain the system details in the below screen. The best way to get the correct value of host/port is to test the service from the ABAP backend system using tcode /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE. It will launch the service in the browser and you could use the value of Host and port from URL (ex- http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_SALESORDER_SRV). Make sure you use the Fully Qualified domain name.
