IW_BEP Component on SAP Netweaver Gateway OR SAP Business Suite for Fiori

Hi,

I would like to know the recommended option for installing IW_BEP component for Fiori. Is it on the SAP Business Suite OR on the SAP NW GW?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Vishnupriya,

For Fiori apps, IW_BEP must be installed on backend SAP Business Suite, because Data Provider Class and Service Provider Class are on backend SAP Business Suite side.

For custom apps, you have to develop Data Provider Class and Service Provider Class on server where IW_BEP is installed. So you have own choice for IW_BEP location.

Thanks a lot. I was looking for Firoi apps - standard apps and extending Fiori apps.

So, I would then install IW_BEP in the SAP Business Suite.
