The client wants to have a message at the expense type level. e.g. for an expense type for 'Laundry' - they want a message to display that this expense type should be used only if you are staying for more that 3 days. Can this be configured? THey do not want to use ABAP for this?

"additional receipt information " which says "you can differentiate also according to travel expense type; for additional information for mileage distribution reference texts can be differentiated according to vehicle type."
Also there is a node to"Set Up Reference Texts for Additional Information"
I am wondering if these two nodes have key to put a display message to the expense type.
This would be difficult without modification as usually the BAdI TRIP_WEB_CHECK is pretty useful for this requirement! You can also build in min/max rates too so using that in conjunction will probably fit the purpose
