I am using SOLMAN 4.0 and Setting up my service desk. I have a quick question regards the CRM and BASIC Number ranges in SOLMAN 4.0. I haven't changed the SAP deliver default number range yet. But I have a feeling that we need to add an external number range to CRM since CRM number range only has one range.
Please see the attachment link for SAP - Basic and CRM number ranges:

Don't I have to create 2 number ranges for SLF1 in transaction DNO_NOTIF, one external and other internal, and the same 2 number ranges in CRM using transaction CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE, the internal ABA must be the external in CRM and vice-versa.
I see that I have two SLF1 number range in the DNO_NOTIF, but in the CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE I see only one number range?
Do i need to add any number range to have the numbers range correctly or Can I leave with SAP Defaults number range?
Thanks In Advance
Kumar
Forum link that I read info about number range:
Hi,
You can leave default SAP number Range. If at all there is any conflict, the system will give error message while creating itself. go ahead, leave default number range.
Hope this solves your problem.
feel free to revert back.
