Quality tracking of all Materials to go back to Man, Material, Vendor, Batch

Dear All,

Can anyone tell me how to track quality of a material going back to Man, Material, Vendor, Batch ie., who has done the qlty inspection, against which material, from which Vendor the inspected material was purchased and what is the Batch number for it.

You can find these details with t.code QA32. In the report change the lay out by selecting as per your required fileds.

Hi Srinivasa,

1. This is one of the most common but most important report for any QA department.

For this you can simply use QA32 T-code where you need to set layout accordingly.

Once you select all required fields and save layout, report will look somewhat like this.

You can also add other fields like Expiry date of a batch, Manufacturing Date, Vendor Name etc by appending QALS_D02 structure. (Search other posts for adding fields to QALS_D02).

But one should not add "Inspector Name" field in this report as it is recorded for each Operation and data shown in QA32 is for an "Inspection Lot". You may add this field into any Z report developed for Inspection Results.

2. You can use QGA4- QM Cockpit for evaluations.
