GRCPIERP GRCPINW plugins

HI,

We have an ERP system and we are just using its MM and FI capability but we dont use the HR functionality.

What happens if we install both the plugins on the ECC 6 system?

Will that cause any issues even if we dont install the GRCPIERP plugin on downstream ( satellite ) system?

Hello Soni,

If you do not use the HR component (SAP_HR), there is no need to install GRCPIERP. In this case you need only to install GRCPINW.

There is no issues regarding not installing GRCPIERP component.

Also, there are many customer which use GRCFND_A and GRCPINW in the same system.

Hi,

We do have a ECC system but there is no HR functionality on it.

But accidentally as SAP_HR component was available under System --> Components expert recommeded to add GRCPIERP component.

What i want to know is that would there be any problems if we are not using any HR fuctionality would that cause problems for normal working

Hello Soni,

Yes, it will do it but if you do not want to use AC with HR functionalities, there won't be a problem.

You can use GRC normally without it. You just won't be able to use some functionalities which rely on HR transactions such as HR triggers.
