Transportation allocations have a different DB structure...if you want to use the old structure to work in TM 9.0 ....you have to take care of allocation conversion program.
New structure of allocations in TM like...different attributes such as handling codes, unit load devices, or decks. You can also specify whether the allocation is to be considered in the carrier selection and whether the assigned quantity is updated
automatically when a bucket is created.
In the transportation allocation settings, you can activate transportation allocations and, for example, specify whether business documents are assigned to the respective buckets of a transportation allocation.
The capacities can be defined for multiple dimensions such as volume, weight, and 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs) and a sequence of time periods of the same granularity, which are frequently called (time) buckets.
