Role and Authorization for USER ID

Dear Expert,

         I have a File to Proxy Scenario in PI 7.0 , where Ecc (SAP HR) version is 6.0

        For sending data to Ecc from i have created a RFC Destination in PI.

        Now i want to know that what type of USER ID and what role to be given to that UserId for updating Infotype tables in SAP HR.

Hi,

you need to provide user "SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER" role. this is used to send message from pi to ECC.

check with HR team for roles to update the info type tables.

Hi Anirban

We have similar HR interfaces using IDOC (HRMD_A.HRMD_A06)communication for updating Info Types and we use standard RFC service user to post data to HR system. I think the table update should be handled by Function Module  in ECC system which gets executed after IDOC/Proxy gets posted.
