Reverse calculation Basic value(ZR00)

Dear Expert,

My clients requirement is to calculate Tax on MRP

For Example,

MRP (ZMRP)                   = $100

VAT 12%(ZVAT)              = $ 10.71(100*12/112)

Basic Price(ZR00)           = $ 89.29

Kindly suggest me how to configure Pricing procedure to get Basic price(ZR00).As we have already calculated MRP($100) & VAT($10.71) in which i have done a condition type setting i.e Price Inclusive(H). It's urgent please revert soon.

Hi Chakradhar,

for your scenario, you can create a new VAT condition type in V/06 below settings

Condition class : D

Calculation Type : A

Plus/Minus     : - (negative )

Generally Standard will have +ve check, but for your case inorder to arrive Base price from MRP I proposed you to create VAT as - ve

I configured like this way

ZMRP(condition type)

Condition class : B

Calculation Type : C

Plus/Minus     : - (P)

ZVAT

Condition class : D

Calculation Type : H

Plus/Minus     : - (negative )

ZR00(Basic)

Condition class : A

Calculation Type : A

Plus/Minus     : - (P)

Amount shoule be

ZMRP- 100

ZVAT-10.71

ZR00-(how to calculated ?)

Please tell me is it ok ?

Hi,

I tried to replicate your scenario as below

I have created two conditions for Prices ZMRP ( MRP) and ZR00 (base price) with calculation type B

and replica of MWST as ZMWS with calculation type as A (percentages) and Plu/minus as X (-ve)

in the pricing procedure

step   condityp               fr     to

  10     ZMRP    

  20     ZMWS              10

30      Subtotal             10    20

40       ZR00                 30

just maintain condition record for ZR00 as 100%

now I have Maintained ZMRP as 100 EUR

                                        ZMWS     10 %

                                        subtotal is   90 EUR

                                        ZR00      is 90 as it is 100% of subtotal and your net price is also 90

hope it is clear
