xml to xsd conversion issues

Hi Experts,

My req is to send the data in Cxml format to the vendor.

Vendor sent me the target structure in xml file, which contains the CXML tags in the file.

To import the structure into pi i converted it into XSD / DTD using Altova xmlspy.

when i open the xsd, it is showing the below issues.

after importing the xsd as a external definition i didn't see any fields under message tab.

Attached the xml and XSD files,please have a look Please help me to resolve the issue.

Hi Bhargava,

Did you see similar exception when you opened the cXML file in the notepad editor?

Try opening the XSD in other editors like notepad++, notepad, word pad, ms word or even try loading the XSD as ED into PI and check.

Hi Ram,

i opened xml file xmlspy, when i test it using validate xml, it is showing the below error.

i imported the converted xsd into PI, it is not showing any fields under message tab.

i checked with the client as well, they said it is the valid xml..

Bharghava,

Use the attached XSD for the xml.

Change the file extension to xsd as its not allowed to attach xsd doc on thread.

i saved the attached file as xsd and imported as external definition.

It is only showing few fields. PFA screen shot.

Hi Bharghav,

Use the xsd I shared and when you drag and drop the ED to MM, select CXML (instead of Accounting node) as per below screenshot. you can get the required xml.
