Idoc Pos Outbound

Hi all,

I would like to mark several of my Merchandise categories with an age limit. For example
my tobacco, wine or beer items and send this information to the POS via an
Idoc.

Do you have any Idea how to handle this issue?

Hi Kumar,

for example with the Basictyp WPDWGR01.

The issue is, not any Item can be sold to anybody. For the staff at the cashier desk there must be an age limit sign or something similar so they can proof the ID of the Customer.

Is there a way to mark the Merchandise categories or the Item with an age limit and send this
information via an Idoc to the POS?

Hi Collins,

In our recent project, we used WBBDLD IDoc for sending a customized information to POS. We enhanced the IDoc to send the Brand of every article.

In the same way, you can enhance the IDoc to accommodate your customized field in the IDoc which is sent to POS. I assuming that you have already identified or customized your article master to have this age limit information for your product.
