Net Value in Sales Order

Hi Experts,

I am preparing a document on the pricing part in which I need to show the importance of subtotal in the sales order.

Though I remove subtotal for the net value row in the Pricing procedure I am not seeing any changes in the sales order.KOMP-NETWR remains same.

Kindly suggest how to influence KOMP-NETWR field and also few examples to test on subtotal.

Thanks,

Saran

Hi,

Subtotal is being used for the purpose of "Reference" in pricing procedure.

Subtotal is like a carrier of the prior values and can be referred for various calculations to be performed like "Some X % on Sub total 1" . . . .

Hi

Subtotals are used to store some values or to calculate some other value by taking this sub total as a base amount. There is not any specific rule that we could use subtotal for which purpose. If you know how to configure pricing procedures and you are good at it then you can use it in multiple ways.

Best way to is to see standard pricing procedure RVAA01 and see how SAP has used it.
