In Afaria SP4, I get "Error accessing afaria administrator" message while clicking on IOS notification feature under server mode from the admin console. How to resolve ?

Hi

Scenario : I have a Afaria SP2 server setup in windows 2008 enterprise server R2 machine. Now as i want to install Afaria SP4 , i have uninstalled the Afaria SP2 and have successfully installed the SP4.

Issue /Problem :  When i click on IOS Notification feature under SERVER - CONFIGURATION  - COMPONENT it throws an error saying Error accessing  afaria administrator , an error has occured. Please see the image inline for more info

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue ?

Note: When i install Afaria SP4 in a new machine everything works perfectly.

Hi,

Try this:

Uninstall the .NET 4.5 from the server and reinstall for the error.

Make sure to login with the service account.

Note : The upgrade of Afaria7sp4 is from Afariasp2 or Afaria sp3

Thank u for replying. The solution provided did not work for me , am facing the same issue again. In addition i tried changing the target framework of the afaria application from .netframework 2.0 to .net framework4.0 in the application pool also but no luck.

and yeah the upgrade of afaria sp4 is from afaria sp2 .

Am i missing something here ? Do web.config file has anything to do with this error. ?
