Hi Experts,

We are having ECC dual stck system.We are going to build new Jave system from the export of Dual Stack system.Only JAVA part to be installed.

Also 1)Let me know can We install ABAP part alone from Dual stack system export dump??

2)Can We install JAVA part alone from Dual stack system export dump?

Hello Dheen

For the ABAP stack - you can use Backup Restore method as per standard system copy guide.

For the Java Stack - you will need to take Java export and then import back .

I already answered that.

Yes you can. You need to check the database specific option in sapinst when you start the export.

You can create ABAP with the help of Back and Restore or using the export dump.

2)Can We install JAVA part alone from Dual stack system export dump?

Export just the Java stack from the source system and import it into the target system
