Assign all cost elements with actual data to a line ID

During results analysis of a project the error was given: "Assign all cost elements with actual data to a line ID"

This was due to a wrong G/L account being assigned to a service entry so the user has deleted the service entry sheet and entered a new service entry sheet. However, the same error is still occurring.

The cost element does not have a value, but I suspect since the deleted service entry still has the WBS number, that would be the problem behind this.

Need some assistance with this urgently as we need to settle the project.

HI Ahmed Misru,

Service entry will not be create a problem, since service entry link the GL Account through Valuation Class.  So deletion of Service entry will not effect you RA key settings.

Check the settings of Define Update of Result Analysis & Define Assignment of Result Analysis.

Hello Ahmed,

Check what is the result analysis maintained and check its configuration in OKG1.

Also check assignment of correct cost element for WIP & RA in OKG5.

In this step you need to specify in which line ID the value of cost element or group of cost element need to be considered.

Take help of FI consultant.

Also check SAP Note 152364 - Messages KJ477, KJ478: non-assigned values
