Progress Analysis workbench-CNPAWB

Dear Experts,

We are using Progress Analysis workbench- CNPAWB.

The main function of the progress analysis workbench to analyze the progress of your projects and to display and edit data, such as user and system statuses, dates, and costing information.

If we edit any value at Workbench level, will the values update at project level.

To be more clear, I had edited basic start date at wbs element level from 04.01.2014 to 06.01.2014 and SAVED.

When i check at project level (CJ20N), the value was not changed. It remains same as 04.01.2014 at wbs element level.

Is the editing/modifying the values at CNPAWB ,will it only for reporting purpose and to take print out and have to update manually at project level or any process we are missing?

Kindly provide any information regarding this.

Hi Seshagiri,

If scheduling planning method is Strict Bottom Up then basic start dates can't be modified manually because subordinate wbs defines the basic start and finish date. check which scheduling planning method you are using.
