Problem with default Delivery Plant in SO creation

Dear All

Our user has created Material for Plant X and Plant Y. Material master data for Plant Y was created by mistake.

Now while creating Sales Order, the default Plant is selected as Y (as it is delivering Plant for related Customer).

We have marked for deletion Material data for Plant Y using MM06, but still the Sale Order creation selects
Plant Y as default (why mark for deletion is not working?). We would like SO for this material to select

Plant X as default (don't want to create Customer-Material info record). Please suggest as how to do so.

Hi Milan,

You can archive material for plant Y via TCOD SARA (obj MM_MATNR).

Also plese check the value for field 'Delivering Plant' in customer master record and in material for each plant (X and Y) for your sales area.

Tha value for Plant in SO determined from customer at first and next from material.
